Tracking backup

In the tracking backup configuration you have both consoles (in your case H3 and 3PC) set the same net number and have both running the server. If one of the consoles should fail, the other will pick right up.

As far as the DP8000, if you set two or more of them to the same net number only one will be active. If you set them to different net numbers and just clone the patch you should be able to put a HTP DMX merger in line.

At that time, the tracking was backed up with MIDI.

When do not use the network

HOG3　-　DP8000
Midi-USB interface ( Roland UM-1 )
HOG3PC　-　SuperWidget×2


Is it possible though it wants to do "Tracking backup"?

The Hog 3 family doesn't do tracking backup over MIDI like the Hog2 used to, but rather by networking the consoles together and setting the system up for tracking backup.

If you check out section 12.2 in the manual it will explain all the different setup options.

There are several ways you can do a tracking backup. One way is to use the network tracking backup where you set both consoles to the same nutnumber.

Another way is via MIDI. You load the same show on both consoles, and use MIDI show control. This ensures that if one console goes down, the other console is at the same place in the show and can immediately take over the rig.

No.

You configure the Master console to Send MSC, and the slave console to Receive MSC. Then, any time you play a cue it will automatically play on both consoles.

The synchronization of the button was able to be confirmed by using these.
(The fader doesn't synchronize. )

When you add the cue to the cue list of master(HOG3)
The progress of the cue of the backup(HOG3PC) stops. And,
it restarts again by the same cuenumber.
