Road Hog + Luminair

As far as I know there is no way to really use Luminair to control the Hog. What a lot of people have been using is an app called TouchOSC. It allows you to build an interface to your liking and send MIDI notes to the console.

Bummer. I saw that the H3PC does use Art-Net & sACN. Is there a way for me to still use my Road Hog with a separate PC running H3PC and be able to use Luminair?

The Hog3 family can send Art-Net and E1.31 (sACN), but it doesnt actaully receive it. Hog3PC needs a DP-8000 to send a protocol other than Hog Net.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Luminair is Artnet and sACN OUTPUT. The Roadhog (well, the entire H3 line) does not accept Artnet or sACN as an input source. So no, there is no way for Luminair to control H3PC or Roadhog. The only "external" input source is MIDI Notes.

eboxer- I was just wanted to see if I could use an iPad to control my Road Hog.

The only way is to use TouchOSC (or some type of Midi program) and Midi notes as the Roadhog doesn't have any networking.

If it's a Full Boar, you can network in a H3PC and use VNC also.
