I've got a project coming up which is going to involve taking midi notes from an ableton rig/percussion pads to trigger various cuelists
What I am intending to do is have a FB on stage as a tracking backup recieving the midi signal, and network that console to the FB at FOH
Just wanting to know if I'm ont he right track, or if there's a better/lower latency way of achieving this
Also, if both consoles have the same net number, am I able assign a different net number to the internal DP? I would like to take a universe out of the stage FB direct to strobes to minimise lag on "snare hits" etc while still utilising all 4 universes on the FOH console
