Can I record strobes into a pallette

I have tried to record storbe effects for my Elation power spot 250's into the efects pallete and It won't record them... Can you just not do that, or am I doing something wrong? I am running HOG3 pc

are you running an Chase effect or an intensity shutter strobe??

Chase should be able to save into the effects pool

Shutter strobe would save in the Intensity pool

Make sure you select "Use I" as well as "Use E" from the masking toolbar when Recording.

When recording strobe into the effects pallete I've always done it under the effects engine with Intensity set to Sine, and then I just played with the effects length, speed, etc until i found the perfect strobe. Also fanning the the intensity while doing this can get you some pretty neat effects.
