HogNet init failure

There are missing some important informations:

* which operating system are you using on which hardware
* any connected hardware like widgets, wings, DP2000/DP8000

If you use the search feature of the forums to find the string "HogNet init failure" you will find at least one other thread discussing this issue, along with possible solutions.

Hello! I have the same problem here at a spesific system.
I have a windows xp servise pack 3, a hog 3pc software v 3.2.5. a dmx widget (mini wig 612) system.The hole system was working perfectly when suddently a week before started to showing me a message "HogNet init failure" and the programm doesn't start.
I unistall and install it but nothing. I checked the settings and the control panel options and i think tha they are correct...
Any ideas ???HELP!!!

I'm at moment same problem using XP serv Pack 3 prof. laptop worked
for many years different vers. of hog3PC .
previous week i install 3.2.6 to have compatibility with hog4 and strange
appeare this message "hognet init failure"
i checked all network config. possible but not fix problem at moment.

any suggest to do???? please???

1) Turn off all firewalls and virus protection
2) Turn UAC to the lowest setting
3) Turn off all the network adapters and bluetooth adapter not used to connect to a console or run a show
