SDI Mixer Pro

I was just looking through the brochure for the SDI mixer pro and came up with a couple of questions...

A) Will it handle HD-SDI or just standard SDI?
B) If only standard def, any suggestions for something for HD-SDI?

We're going to be bumping up our Axons to 4 and we use the Decklink HD Capture cards. This would really help if I could use it with HD-SDI between the units.

Hi Jon,

The SDI-DMX Mixer only handles standard definition video. Don't know if you saw this page:

www.highend.com/products/digital_lighting/SDI-DMXMixerPro.asp

It has full specs and lists only NTSC and PAL.

Can't help you as far as an HD capable unit, hopefully someone else can chime in.

Thanks...yeah that was my fear. Hoping someone has a solution for HD-SDI as it has become more of the standard and with Axon's available with HD input cards, it would really help!
