so i bought a widget off of a friend of mine since my last one was stolen.. it needs to be upgraded.. but when i go to find the widget ID number ("setup" then "control panel") i cant find it.. ive followed the directions on how to find it but there isnt a widgets tab anywhere to be found... ive gone to "setup" then "network" and right clicked on the dp settings but all that gives me is the last 3 numbers of the serial number and says "needs upgrade" what am i doing wrong because according to the example the ID number should be in red.. ive never had to do this before because my last widget was a new so im kinda lost here :sad2:
The paperwork must be old as we no longer have the widget tab under the Control Panel. You must go setup - network - dp setting as you did. Look on your widgets serial number and you should see an ID number next to the serial number, unless that was changed.
