Hi All
Next week Im setting up a hog network and Ill be away from the internet so I thought Id ask what is your preffered way of setting it up as me and a mate set one up recently and both had different ways of doing it and both had they're own seperate issues
I have the following
2 x H3's
1 X Dp8K
1 x netgear fs108 switch
1 x Netgear wg614 wireless router
1 x hog pc
1 x hog pc tablet
Im planning on running the 2 hog 3's in failover , 1 hog pc in dimmers on wired network as a client and the tablet as a wireless client
My main question is the network settings in
A on the hog side what is the best way to do IP addresses
B what is the best way yo set up the wireless router
thanks in advance
MIkey

I would pick a desk to run Default IP setting and running DHCP.
Then have the other consoles obtain an IP.
Are you going to have two programmers or just one?

Use your wireless router as your DCHP server.
Connect your switch to the wireless router.
Connect the Hog 3's, DP8K and 3PC to the switch.
Connect the tablet to the wireless router.

Keep in mind the Hog 3 has run DHCP enabled as a default setting so you will need to set it to obtain an IP.
