no power to playback wing

:1zhelp: :1zhelp: my playback wing was working all of the sun it died please help me where to check or if anyone has an schematic thanks.

    Is the wing still mapped?
    What do you have your playback wing plugged into?
    Do you have external power or just USB?
    Did you just upgrade?

    no no upgrade i have it connected to just power, have tried different power supply's but no luck. it was working fine before had it connected to laptop, Roadhog, and ipc and it had no problem.

    So the wing will NOT work when connected to a laptop but will work when connected to a RH or iPC.

    If you are just using the wing (not the little light or the usb hub) you do not need the external power supply. Just connect the wing with a USB cable.

    Does the wing show up in the control panel?

    im sorry i was working on a road hog but know it doesn't even work there before that i used it in a ipc

    When you are in a show and the Playback wing is attached to the desk via a USB cable does the wing show up in the control panel?

    sorry had to connect my laptop, yes the wing can be seen in the laptop.

    So on the Laptop your wing is connected via USB cable and is seen in the control panel?
    Does the wing now work?
    If the wing is listed in the drop down menu in the control panel all you need to do is map the wing.

    on the laptop seems to work fine. but in the roadhog it doesn't seem to work?

    - is there a way to reset a miniwing?
    - does the wing work on the raodhod without the external powersupply (only with usb-cable)?

    btw: had the same problem once, and it turned out to be a rotten usb-cable

    We seem to be all over the place so lets break this out:
    1. Wing works on your laptop?
    2. Wing works on your iPC?
    3. Wing does NOT work on your Road Hog?

    If the Road Hog is the only platform the wing will not work on then it might be a hardware problem with the Road Hog.
    Do the USB ports on the Road Hog work?
    Just plug in a USB keyboard, USB Drive or a mouse to test the ports.
