Assert Failed Window upon restarting desktop

Any reason you are not running 3.2.1?
Many improvements have been made to client/server console setups.

I am an owner/operator with DP2000s. It isn't financially viable for me to spend 12k on a couple DP8000s at this time

I just can't see how you can afford not to upgrade to DP-8000.
Do you need more than 16 universes?
If not, you only need a single DP to start with.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for the DP8000, but my immediate issue is this problem restarting my desktop. Do you or anyone else have any experience/knowledge about this window?

It's not just about the DP, its' about the fixes/upgrades/reworks in the software that make for a more stable client/server environment.

I had seen this a few times on older builds when using a wireless network and the signal would drop out on my tablet PC logged in as a client. Desk would stay up, but the tablet would need a restart.

Are you on a wired or wireless network?
Any particular reason for running the H3PC as server and not the desk itself?

To Be fair the OP has said twice he is not in a position where he can afford new hardware and has asked for help without having to make a hardware purchase if at all possible.

Yes, I am running wireless as well. And to answer your question, I am running the laptop as a server because it is more stable. The very occasional console crash won't affect the show

It sounds like you are having drop-out issues with your wireless signal.
In this case I would try removing the wireless network completely and go hard-wired to see if that solves your issue.

It doesn't occur while I am actually on with the wireless, but oddly enough, it only occurs after I have logged in and then out with the wireless. And this only happens when I later try to restart the desktop on the console
