setting up an 'even led cyclo'

Hi there,

I'm about to set up an 14m by 7m martin even led wal to light a cyclo.
28 universes of dmx are needed to controll the 1568 evenled fixtures.

Does anyone have tips and tricks to controll that amount of led fixtures on a hog 3?

First plan is to use 2 dp8000 with 2 elc nodes (to convert 2x8 artnet universes to dmx)....

what pops in my mind is to create horizontol line groups and vertical line groups.
and then 'total' groups build out of for example all horizontel lines from bottom to top.
then when using fan in combination with a buddy size of a full hor.line i should be able to create a fading 'color' from bottom to top......

Any suggestions/ comments?

Pepijn,

You've got the right idea. By combining creative use of buddying and grouping with fanning and the fx engine you will be able to get fades and fx in any direction.
