HOG 3 V3.2.1 update not possible whit TEAC 40X writer
When I try to update a HOG3 Console to 3.2.1 whit a full install CD-rom in the TEAC 40X writer (Original from HES in the console TEAC CD-W540E) the console do’s not update.
Every other full install works except het V3.2.1 and I’ve try several CD’s
When I change the CD-rom drive to a new one the update work’s

Bug?

So with the TEAC 40X TEAC CD-W540E installed in your Hog 3, the 3.2.1 ISO will not finish?
    Does the image start?

I dug up a TEAC 40x Writer W540E CD-Drive and installed it into one of our Hog 3's.
I was able to perform an ISO with 3.2.1 with no problems.
We have seen some CD Drives not work with a certain types of CDRs.
Can you try another brand of CD's and see if that helps?

The ISO do's not start at all, like a bad ISO burn, so the CD can be the problem.
Tomorow at work I will try another brand of CD whit the same ISO file.

If you're having trouble using burned CDs, especially with older CD drives, try burning the CD at 1x speed. It takes a lot longer, but the resulting disk is much more reliable.

Burning at 8x and faster is nice to save time, but can cause problems.

Yesterday I was trying to update a console whit a ISO file burned on a CD-R TDK using maximum speed.
I’ve just updated a console whit a ISO file burned on a CD-R Verbatim burned using 1X speed

    So that helps
However, I’m thinking to update my consoles to newer CD-R drives
