Selecting Parked Channels

LuminosityLuminosity Registered User
I often times find myself on a stage parking certain lights (usually different each time) at low levels for others as 'work lights'. There are times when I'd love to quickly release all of them (i.e. lunch time or wrap time) but end up having to select each and every one of them (if I haven't already made a palette).

To get on with it, wouldn't it be nice to hit LIVE, PARK, PIG+PARK(to unpark), and just be done with all of those parked intensity values?

If this has already been addressed in a more elegant way please inform me. If you have any comments, questions, ideas, or suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

"Open" the Parked Editor and "Select All" then "Knockout" and "Update". (Note that this removes everything from Park).

    Fast and simple!

    Hope this helps. :)

You can also use LIVE / Group or LIVE @ when parked editor is open to select fixtures. It will select also unparked fixtures but it does not matter since you are unparking...

Not exactly......"Parked" is what you are looking for.

Hold down OPEN and you will see "Parked" as an option from the toolbar on the lower part of the right hand screen.

This is slightly different from the "Park" button that is also on another toolbar on the right screen.

    Hope this helps. :)

Hm, I just opened the Parked window and instead of intensity % value, I see 0s timing values?!?

    Hey Andris,

Sounds like your Parked Editor is set to look @ "Fade" instead of "Value".
Check the toolbar @ the top of the editor to check.

    Hope this helps. :)
