Axon Max Rosultion & Feeding Multiple Projectors

Two quick questions.

1. What is the current max output resolution for the Axon?

(I know it used to be locked to the same 1024 x 768 as the DL.1/DL.2 but has been opened up, but I can't find any specs in the new documentation.)

2. It there a plan anytime soon to allow the option to feed multiple display devices per output like with a Dual-Head or Triple-Head to Go? Has anyone done anything like this already with any success?

Thanks.

  • Travis,

    1) The max resolution for all the generations of Axon is 2560 x 1600, however the Axon will auto-detect what resolutions are supported by the attached display device and only display those resolutions in the drop down list.

    2) We have looked into the double- and triple-head-2-go systems in the past, but the problem lies in the fact that they require drivers and a pretty extensive control panel in order to allow for their complete functionality. Because we have a locked down Embedded image, keeping up with driver changes and the like can be extremely exhaustive for resources. Also, because of the way the display devices are controlled through the DL graphics application, it would require a pretty significant re-architecture of the system to get all of the double/triple-head-2-go functionality to work properly.

We would eventually like to support these systems, but in the near future there are no plans to do so.

    Best regards,
