Unfortunately the ability to set fader and flash key defaults is much more difficult than expected. The request has been logged for some time and developers have even looked into it periodically. The original code makes this a very difficult change to make and there are always other bigger requests that seem to get in front of this one. Hopefully we will get to it soon.
What I usually suggest is to make a single cue cuelist with just a dummy desk channel and set the attributes as you like. Then you can just copy list X to the master you want and start programming. This way everything is set as you like.
