Using faders as submasters

Is there any way to use the playback faders on the Wholehog 3 as fixture submasters. Not inhibitive submasters - I want to be able to move the fader to form 0%-50% and the corresponding fixture will come on to 50%. I'm the full-time lighting tech for our church, and as much as I try to teach our volunteers, they can't grasp the concept of using groups and the parameter wheels for on-the-spot changes during a service, and having an actual, physical fader would help tremendously.

TIA

I would just program a scene or cue with that fixture or fixtures in it. Set it as HTP or IPCB for parameters and that should do the trick. I do it all the time.

That might be a solution - I'll have to try that. Is there any conflict with cues asserting over one another or anything?

Not usually a problem with HTP, as they will not release with the release button. You can set these faders to highest priority, and they will always override a lower priority cue.

remember: if you have page-changes you'll have to make a template, or copy the cue's to the new/next page to maintain control
