fps::exception error

Ok, so when I updated our iPC and (3PC) to v.3.1.8 the strangest thing is happening. I can only open shows off of backups now. It gives me the fps::exception error which when detailed says: desktop callstack process, and the thread is a different number every time. I've since talked to High End and they advised me to wipe the console and re-update, which I have with the same result. I'm wondering if it is a problem with the show. The odd thing is every show I create will open and work perfectly off of the backup file, but will not open off of the regular show file.

    So you can start a new show, log off, log on, and get the error?

    Haven't tried that, mainly cause we have a show just about every night in our theatre and haven't had time to build a show from scratch, but I will try it and see what happens.
