Hi everybody Last time when i was recording my palettes i put a focus with the gobo and i record it by type. I din't find the way to correct this palette. What is the way please ? Thanks.
I keep many values of old shows in "per type" palettes to use them when I have same fixtures again, but I'm unpatching all fixtures I'm not using. So each time I have an error in a "per type" palette I must patch again all unused fixtures to redo the palette and than unpatch them again. It takes time to do it, and as there no (yet?) option to keep "per type" option selected, I usually forget to select it :-)
Hi everybody and thanks for the answer. The solution that marty is proposing doesn't fix the problem because it won't remove a parameter (like a focus) from the "by type" library. The only way i know is to recall all the spot who are in you palette and to record it again. For sure it's a loss of time (specially when you are keeping lot of different kind of fixtures). I have already to keep in my show all the fixture because i don't want to lose the "by type" palettes (the output is becoming like a mess) just not to do again and again the same things (like a craftsmen !). I think that the "by type" palette as been created to win time, not to lose it. We definitively need an option to import/export the palettes from the fixture. Do you plan to add this kind of option ? Thanks.
Yes, Import/export values from fixtures that are patched could be a good filter.
So we could have a "base show" with all values and create a new show in which we could import, from the "base show", palettes with only the values of pached fixtures.
We also need a way to remove values from "per type" palette, perhaps using record remove.
And, why not, a function to transform any palette in "per type" palette (of course we would have to choose for each type a fixture to be the reference)

Actually it does. Try the following method: -select a fixture -adjust the undesireable parameter (like focus) -Press "Merge" -Select "Remove" from the lower right toobar -Select "More" from same toolbar -Select "Per Type" -Press "Enter"
The Parameter should now be removed "Per Type" from your palette. I just tried it here and it is working fine for me.
Got it! Also working -select a fixture -give any values to undesireable parameter(s) -Press "Merge" -Select "Remove" -Select "More" -Select "Per Type" -Select "palette to modify"
or to remove all parameters of intensity, position, colour or beam -select a fixture -Select "palette to modify" -Press "Merge" -select one or more option in "IPCB" -Select "Remove" -Select "More" -Select "Per Type" -Select "palette to modify"
