HOG3 Timecode Advise Needed Thanks

Hi Chris,

I believe your Hippos are all programmed into the Hogs and timecode will trigger the show.

In this case, you need send Midi Timecode from your source to your Hog 3 via a midi cable. I would advise that individual midi cable from the source to both the main and backup console. Hog 3 does not accept LTC unless you have external LTC widgets.

This time round the Hippo is control by GrandMA
HOG3 will be controlling 200 Movers 100 Spot & 100 Wash 192 Dimmers
I would like to be able to use timecode to trigger the Lighting Cue
A Yamaha PM5D Digital Console will be use as the Main Audio console which is able to send Midi out
Hippo audio is send to the PM5D

Pls advise how should i hook up the
Am I able to send Midi from MA to trigger the HOG 3
I would like to sync Video , Audio & Lights

Since you are planning to send midi timecode out from your PM5D, you just need to program both light and video cues to timecode, run your midi out from the PM5D to a midi splitter and connect them to your consoles midi in. In this way, lights and video are sync to audio.
