no, sometimes i leave it on for days... did you try to restart desktop?


what i have on a roadhog, is that sometimes after a long time the mini-wing is not responding. only way to get it back to work = plugout-plugin usbcable

Hi,
No i didn't restart the desktop but i thought logging on and logging back on to the show would be the same thing?
I have not seen seen this before so probably it's just an unlucky day for me.

I have a guest LD today carrying a Full Boar with a similar problem. Upon startup the desk will often not output DMX, though this has so far been resolved each time with a reboot. He seems to think it only happens when he powers the console before the fixtures, though that makes little sense to me.
On a perhaps unrelated note, he also needs to re dock the playback bar on his RH wing each time he reboots, and yes it is properly docked each time before shut down.
He is running 3.1.7, on a brand new Full Boar on it's first tour.

What XPe version is this desk?

Is the console being shut down by pressing Quit then Shutdown or just powered off? The console requires a proper shut down to record the playback bar position.

Yes, it's being properly shut down.
But this guest LD has now also gone on to the next city, with his console, so my interest in this particular issue is considerably lessened!

I've definitely had the "no DMX" issue on a very consistent basis with Road Hogs. I got so used to booting the console twice (power up, load existing, immediately restart) that i practically forgot it was an issue.
