frames in effect engine.

I was teaching a guy the 3, when he asked if it was possible to "fake" an iris chase with the frames, and I said: shure, it's gonna be slow, and i've never tried it before, but yes you can do that!!
This was with vl1000as..

The only problem was that i couldn't... only the A parameters for each frame is in the effect generator.. Is there a reason for this? i believe it works ok for Mac2000, since that has one parameter for "in/out" and one for "angle".. but on a vl1000 you have one parameter for each "side" of the frame and then you need to move both..

Not shure if this has been talked about before, or if it's just a device problem, and it isn't a problem in a real situation for me.. just qurious..

    Anders,

I found bug #3730 that deals with the methods used for the dual parameters of framing shutters. It seems this was never completly repaired from a long time ago.

I will add your comments to the bug.

    thanks,

I'm having the same issues with VL3500's - is there any word yet on when this bug is going to be fixed?

    thanks,
