Fader programming

Hello

this is a very helpfull community. Now I have a question.

Is it possible to program a fader like a program wheel. I know this sounds strange. I will explain.
I want to control a Flash. With the fader I want to control the rate and with the flash button I want to activate it with intensity 100%.

Crossfade IPCB might be what your looking for.
If your intensity is on one fader and your strobe rate (for instance) is on another fader, you can go under playback options try setting your strobe rate master to IPCB crossfader.
Also, If you then want the flash to bump the gate open, then set your flash button to release with a 0 time. If I understand your question, this should give you what your looking for.
