Hi Kevin,

With a brand new card like you have, it needs to update its firmware. This process happens automatically once the computer in the server has booted. You will need to power up the fixture (it will not home), allow the computer to boot (this will take ~2 minutes) and you should see a progress dialog come up on the menu of the fixture stating that it is doing a firmware update. This whole process will take a few minutes, and it will home when it is finished.

Also, because you have a brand new card, make sure to run Projector Defaults once the firmware upload is done. The head card stores the projector type, so since you have a new one, it will not know what kind of projector is installed in the fixture. The projector detection happens during the Projector Defaults routine.

Hi Matt! I finally got the board loaded into a spare fixture this morning. It does try to start the firmware upgrade process. Once it finishes, the screen goes dark and the status light continues to blink. Is there something else I should be doing as well? Thanks for all the support. Take care!

When you installed the board and powered the fixture on were you controling the fixture with Art-net or DMX?
Sometimes the Firmware will fail if you only have art-net going to the fixture.
Did the menu say success once the firmware process was complete?

Hi Michael! The unit is being used in DMX mode. The menu did not say success. It gets to the end of the progress bar and then the screen goes black before I will see the Success. Let me know. Thanks and take care!
