Merging a range of palettes

Hi,

I have a bunch of palettes that have CMY info recorded into them that I'd like to merge the color info from them to a different type of fixture. I can do this by copying the color info when it's open in an editor or the programmer but is there a way to do this all in one step?

If these are new fixtures in your show, the easiest waay is to Replicate & Change Type in Patch.

- Replicate the original fixture(s) as many times as needed
- Then Change Type to the "copies" to the new type
- All your palettes, cues, etc should now include info for the new fixtures.

Thanks for the reply, is there a way to do this for a specified range of palettes only and not for everything in the show file like a "replicate fixtures" would do?

Not really....you have to do each one "manually" in this case.
This process will speed up once we get Keystroke Macros later this year.
