So I'm losing the extension while downloading the hog3.tar.gz file from my mac me account. I know Safari is trying to do me a favor by decompressing the file for me but it's hosing me. I would like to have my shows stored in my cloud so I can access them anywhere in the world.
I tried tricking the process by giving the file a different extension while it downloaded and so my mac wouldn't decompress it, and then just add the gz file back onto the file once it landed on my desktop and that didn't work, what the hell it was a shot in the dark.
Anyways I'm just looking for a work around so that I can use my mac cloud and my mac laptop and always know that my shows are in my personal online space. I know I can use a memory stick and a cd or download the file with a borrowed PC but would like to use my mac if at all possible.
If anyone can help me please give me a shout.
