Console Xmas Tree

In the middle on the show with on lot of stuff going on IFCBs chases, EFX.
every light on the console started to flash (christmas tree) could not quit,
had to power down, and reboot, ok after reboot ??????????????

This sounds like a hardware issue. Was this a rental console? Any ideas on the history of the desk?

Yeah..."christmas tree" usually happens when the front panel has lost communication with the processor.

It is worth opening up the desk and checking all the wiring harness connections and be sure all the chips are seated properly, etc.

HMMMMMMM, no this is my console and it stays in the theater, this has not happen for two years now, so I will open her up and take a look any thing I should look for.
