3.0.4 not booting

i know this is the area for 3.0.2 but there is none for 3.0.4, so here i go...
i try and boot Hog PC 3.0.4 on my vista machine and it tosses up the flash screen and says "Unknown exception"

i'm running a Dell Studio 1737
Intell Core 2 Duo CPU P 8400 @ 2.26Ghz
4gig ram
32bit op system

is this too powerful for hog pc to run on?

    i do understand the frustration created when a fresh installation crashes, immediately.

    the 3PC installer does a terrible thing to your registry; HES will recommend disabling UAC and running as an administrator.


    the more prudent way to make this work is to assign an appropriate set of permissions, as follows:
    • open the registry editor (regedit.exe)
    • navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Flying Pig Systems
    • right-click the Flying Pig Systems folder and choose "Permissions..."
    • click "Add..."
    • type in users and click OK
    • check the checkbox to allow Users Full Control
    • click OK
    • run 3PC as expected.
