TouchOSC template

Brilliant, thanks for sharing this.

I will be very keen to see how your work compares with the layouts that HES themselves have been making.

Just tried the OSC for the first time having previously used RDM Remote Desktop.

This is so much more responsive. With the RDM I had to type slowly otherwise it couldn't keep up. With this it is perfect.

I take it with the layout editor you can't fit 10 masters and a Grand Master?

it could, but that's not the way the hog system i was working on operated

Just to pick up on the fader thing though, I was confused because you had put 5 encoders and the ALL key on the programming page. As for your other page, had the HES not just come out, I would have suggested you make the Grand Master fader 1, then label the remaining 9 as 2 thru 10, to replicate more accurately the behaviour of the wing you have copied.

I'm going to have a go at making a page that is just a keypad with a clear key, for an iPhone, so that it's a really simple little remote just for bringing channels up...unless HES have already done that....I have only seen the iPad version so far...

He was talking about the ones HES made and there is iphone versions from them.

HES have indeed made exactly what I was talking about, which is a template for the iPhone which is just a keypad, with clear, blind etc.

Trouble is i'm selling my iPhone as I have a Galaxy S3 now....so I have been looking for ways to get the HES templates into the Android Touch OSC app. It seems that it is possible, with a lot of faffing about.

From my understanding, it's not possible with the standard touchOSC on android to load your own templates. However, I can't remember where I heard of an alternative app that does allow you to.
