Hey Guys,
I've got a WholehogIII runing V.2.2.1 software release.
The system crashes everytime I try to modify the parameters inside the fixture builder tool...
Apparently the :hogsign: goes on outputting dmx data... for example a chase.
Let me know...
regards
Lorenzo

Lorenzo,

We are aware of some issues with the Fixture Builder. This is why we suggest it is used only when absolutely necessary. The best bet is to contact us directly to build the fixture library you need. support@flyingpig.com or the library forum on this site are the best choices.

That being said, what parameters are you trying to adjust? Did you start from scratch or copy an existing fixture type? What exact keystrokes are causing the crash?

thanks,

Hi Bred,
this is what happens:
I try to build a 8ch fixture, I edit the 1st ch and set function strobe, feature shutter, dmx value 0>255, and as I try to change the real world it comes out:
Assert Failed <4>
Error: asser: '(unasigned int)actVal < settings.size()'is FALSE at line 291 in file library/unit.cpp (jul 24 2007), build 1775
etc...

Ignore? Retry? Abort?

Unfortunately I can't do anything else as restarting the systems...
Hope this can help you!

Thanks
Lorenzo

I am currently having the same issue. Did we get this fixed? I am currently running v2.2.2

Thanks,

Eyeball,

We have not made the repairs to the fixture builder yet. This is planned for a future release. However if there is a specific fixture you need I suggest you check the newer libraries in the current software or directly make a request for the fixture you need. I see that you are running a fairly old version of software, so you may want to consider upgrading as well.

You can find a list of current fixture libraries here:
